I haven't abandoned this journal so much as pushed it to the back of my priority list, but since I've had a higher volume of adds than in the last month, I'm starting to work on some new sets.

Mostly, she looks like Keira Knightley. Minimally, she looks like Dianna Agron, Odette Yustman, Kate Winslet, Megan Fox, Sarah Green, and a dozen others. What.

I RETURN, with a new layout and new icons :] RL swallowed me up whole for a few months, but I'm making a concerted effort to come back and update! I've still been making batches, but they're for future personal use, and I don't really like posting my personal icons here, unless it's a RARELY iconned person. I think she's lovely. She kind of reminds me of if Idina Menzel and Jessica Simpson had a baby. With a liiiitle Kate Bosworth thrown in for good measure. I really enjoyed her rendition of Catherine, and she makes hilarious icons.

Because I definitely need to make MORE icons of her, right? This puts her at 513 545 icons in my reservoir, I shamefacedly admit--though about 200 of them blow so much I can't show them to the public. Not that these are really good, either, but I needed them fast, and--yep, basically. Most of these feature an over-fondness for the sharpening tool and are pretty crappy caps to begin with. Thus, I present you with SOTP2 Alexis!
(who, may I just say, is probably the most stunning person I've ever seen in the world in this movie. She is so beautiful, it's kind of painful to me. /reverence)

Ayaya is the cutest thing in the world! I love her music, and I love her collaborations with Miki Fujimoto a lot, too. I couldn't resist iconning her, because I was looking through her UFA shoots, and she's so darn cute and expressive! I would suggest using these for more LJ-based games and/or where they are less icon-focused, because even though she is expressive, they're still static photoshoots. If you haven't noticed, I hate dealing with those and the standard appearances photos, because I just don't feel that they are expressive enough to constitute using for icons. But I am so willing to make an exception in some cases. Like here.
Also, I think she'd make a great snooty bitch character, since she's supposed to be a diva IRL.

So I don't know if I hate her or love her. I hate her on Charmed, and I think it's hilarious that she dated Marilyn Manson, because he somehow gets all his girls to look the same after a while (Most notably ERW--honey, what were you thinking? Thank god that's behind you, now). I haven't seen her in anything besides Charmed, but I only like the first three seasons, anyway. But as I was iconning Kerr Smith, I had this nagging urge to do her too, so I went back and did a few from the seventh season. I think I hate her, but I'm not sure. She does have some nice expressive range, though.

So... can you tell I like her? But really! While I do love her, I just found screencaps that weren't normally impossible to deal with, so I was so pleased, although it took me about 130 to get the hang of them. I had such a girlcrush on her for years and years and years, but she's been painfully misused in SO many games, it hurts my soul to the point where I'm starting to dislike her. But these definitely helped, I'm remembering season one Rory and her awesome deep voice, so hopefully that and the good Alexis PBs out there will help me continue to love her.
